Easson have seriously invested in the development of absolute linear scales since 2010, after 2 years of hard works, Easson have launched the first three series of absolute linear scale at 2012. On 2014 Easson have completed the development of the absolute linear scales, offering comprehensive choices to our customers.
Advanced Optical Measuring System
The slide carrier in the VS/VA series scales incorporates a five-bearing design and six springs for the optical grating linear transducer, ensuring that the VA scales remain unaffected by installation issues. Additionally, the springs allow for angle adjustments if the alignment is not correctly executed during installation.
The reader head still in the best way fir on the grating glass, the accuracy of VA scale is totally different with the GS or other brand in China mainland.
VA scale has a small PCB inside the 9 PIN connector, the laser compensation data is store inside, with our LCD Digital display unit, the compensation data will directly load the ECF file (compensation file) into the DRO, accuracy up to ±2μm.
Principal of Absolute Linear Scale
The absolute linear scale is comprised of two distinct grating masks: the Absolute Grating Mask and the Incremental Grating Mask. Each mask serves a unique purpose: The Absolute Grating Mask features varied patterns across the entirety of the grating glass, providing low-resolution yet distinct position readings throughout the entire range of measurement.
Incremental Grating Mask is an identical repeatable mask patterns over the whole grating glass, it gives very stable and high quality electronic signal for signal interpolation to achieve very high accuracy and resolution position readings.

Connector interface
Gold-plated pins are used to prevent poor connections and corrosion. Inside the connector, a small PCB enables the VA series Absolute Linear Scale to incorporate laser compensation data and connect directly to our LCD DRO, ensuring high measurement accuracy.

Every linear encoder is meticulously calibrated using our in-house laser interferometer, and we provide accuracy test reports to guarantee product quality and traceability.
